Knights wrap up memorable season

The Varsity Knights football team attended the NACA National Football Tournament November 7-9 in Dayton, TN following an undefeated regular season. In the first round Wednesday, the Knights defeated the Middletown Christian Academy Eagles of Franklin, OH 38-16. The Knights then faced off against the Lancaster Academy Knights of Smyrna, TN for Friday’s Championship game ending in second place with a final score of 41-17. Matt Beckett won the Punt, Pass & Kick competition for the 18U division, and Mark Cochran, Ben Paulk, and Chase Peterson received All Tournament Player recognition. Fox Five News recently recognized Crown Athletics on their “Home Town Hero” segment. You can view the broadcast here. Retiring Head Coach John Richards was featured on the Homeschool Sports Network website, where you will also see the Knights listed at the top of the leader board for Varsity Homeschool Football teams in the nation!
